Description
Could the Tree Warden take another look at this long-suffering Norway Maple? It has now had its roots cut on the left, right, and streetside, and already had significant rot at the base, and I worry about it falling when the leaves are next caught by the wind.
She (The Warden's team) has already trimmed the crown to lighten the load due to a 5-year old bark gash that killed the cambium on the street side. A valiant effort.
But the injuries have continued: Sadly, this year's water-line replacement & gas-line replacement have now cut the roots on the left and right (in photo). It may be time to take it down before it falls over.
