I'm soooo sick of this why is the police not doing anything. THESE PEOPLE ARE ENDANGERING THEMSELVES AND THE TRAFFIC. I called too they do nothing!!!

The encapments are also a public health hazard both for those living there and for the public at large.

6/2/17: The encampment continues to pose a hazard. Campers standing and walking in traffic lanes, stacks of pallets, bicycles, carts and trash piled in the street impeding traffic.

These vagrants need to be cited and given community service for all the stolen property, littering and all the other muni code violations. Make them take the carts back to the rightful owners and clean up the disgusting mess they have created. If the city and state makes them work they will leave.

Trash, carts, bicycles and debris still in the roadway. Looks like the campers will clean up for a couple days then spill back out into traffic.

Numerous pedestrians, shopping carts, and other conveyances milling around in traffic lanes during the afternoon. Nothing has changed at this site in the 60 days since I first reported it.

The number of tents has gone down, but drivers still have to dodge pedestrians, bicycles, trash and pets in the roadway. Piles of trash left behind where the tents were.

I reported this over 7 months ago - but we are still dealing with shopping carts, structures, and debris in the roadway, pedestrians and bicyclists wandering into traffic, stolen shopping carts rolling into traffic, and piles of garbage and filth as we try to navigate through the area.

Major construction under way at the encampment. One lane completely blocked with pallets, plywood, carts, and trash. The campers have coned it off with traffic cones. Looks like several tents and shanties are adding new rooms. Several new tents have sprung up. Large open—air piles of bottles, food waste, and other unidentifiable refuse.
