This remains an accident waiting to happen, PWD. Almost two years and no action?

Two and half years, and it's is still a hazard.

It's been almost three years now. Also, the overgrown shrubbery forces pedestrians onto more hazardous parts of the sidewalk.

Sadly the rules are and I will quote a letter s sent out by PWD " Please note your sidewalk damage may not be caused by a official City street tree, (State Law and local ordinances hold the owner of the fronting property responsible for sidewalk maintenance and repair ( Section 5610 0f the Calif State Streets and Highways Code and Section 12.04 of the Oakland Municipal Code)".
